NWLB No Worker Looks to Benefit

No Worker Left Behind is a program and opportunity offered by the state in which funding is released for dislocated workers. Income free standing by the government, which is being issued by the city. The city in which you reside decides if you are the right individual to qualify for school. Of course there are government/state qualifications but, who gets the buck is determined ultimately by the city. In 2005 I tried to benefit from no worker left behind funding after being laid off my job. The long process and much required paper work was not at all bothersome anticipating the end results. The choice to pick a curriculum and school from a list decided by what the city calls qualified careers in your area, because ultimately the process is to lead you towards an employed future. My process pretty much ended after I found a job and was told by a career counselor you can not work while going to school. Now remind you I was not working during the year long process it took. Also I was told the career path I chose even though it was apart of their list (of viable future employment) was not a career they would qualify me for. Does the government & our governor know they are giving monies to a city that isn't giving it to the list of participants that fill there "Work Force One Stop", offices daily. Are we allowing this to continue because of our desires for a better and brighter future, by simply being a statistic numbered to keep the process of funding flowing in our state. Negligently Wagering our futures & allowing the Legislator the Benefit. Do you know of someone who has benefited from N.W.L.B please let "nuslethertalk" know, we would like to post a good report for such an imperative issue.
