What would happen If everyone told the "Truth"?

What if everyone told the truth at work, church, home or in relationships? This question came about in church it caused an uproar of laughing , heads shaking, and eyes bulging. Recently in a conversation I was having with a friend of mine they started lying and I've known this friend for sometime and I can tell in their voice the switch. "The Lie Switch", Now during this conversation I didn't say a word I listened. Afterwards I pretty much felt like a liar myself for allowing them to continue instead of voicing my opinion they are telling a LIE. Freedom of speech isn't socially acceptable. I pondered the question what if we all just told the truth.

  1. We are together until I find a Wife/Husband
  2. The other person on the line is another buyer
  3. Hi, I'm new at this church and I'm here to find a woman
  4. You can sleep with her just give me your name
  5. I'm not coming in today I'm going to the casino instead
  6. I like you and her/him why don't you guys get together and talk

Would you be able to handle the truth in a relationship, with a family, church member or co-worker, without being judgemental. Is it easier to lie now and deal with the consequences later, knowing they will surface.
