Where's the Beef or Whats the Beef?

Happy Memorial Weekend! Now, there has already been talk about beef ~"prepared frozen burger patties", but word to the wise try something new. Recently a friend took me out for a burger meal, well as you all know I love cooking and I pride myself in coming up with creative meals. As I do trust this friend we have different taste when it comes to food. Anyway he took me out and to my better judgement I let him order for me. Ready for this? An ostrich burger, yes you will be surprise to know with my love for beautiful birds I ate one. I must say after the garnishments I choose it was very tasty and much less fat then the original beef burger. Surely our men and women over sea's are experiencing much more then salmonella, and contaminated meat and or what burger if any kind to choose from. This holiday is to celebrate the brave and not so few soldiers whom dedicated their lives for our country. So before you pull out the red, white and blue~ plates, cups, napkins, join hands pray and celebrate the proud brave men and women who continuously fight for what we call the "Am Bush" cause. When you remove your hot dogs, chicken, ribs, steaks and "turkey burgers", from the grill be grateful for not awaiting the call or siren for enemy attack. Sound your bell and call your guest to order~ in a bum fire salute not to the chef but to the "Chief of United States of America"~ our President Obama for an attempt to bring our troops home soon and very soon. So they can taste Americas full plate of their anticipated and safe returns! God Bless America!

Poor Mentality or Rich In Spirit You Choose

Recently I received an email forwarded from an article in essence magazine. The article published thoughts of Pastor & Gospel Artist Donnie McClurkin. As I respect Pastor Donnie McClurkin I was not persuaded by his thoughts. In his discussion with the journalist he spoke of disappointment and pastoral abuse, pimping preachers driving~Rolls Royce, Bentleys, and flying private Jets. Now my flesh wants to agree but my spirit and the word says if we see our sisters or brothers sinning (sin that does not lead to eternal death) then we should pray for them. What deals with people is God and themselves. God determines righteousness and not people. Touch not the anointed.
When we identify a need (negative/complaint) in the body of Christ then that's our ministry. Perception was the other word used. Pastor McClurkin perceives if he doesn't drive around in a Mercedes and live in the "hood", then the members of his church would feel better because they don't have those "unessential things". Well I am human and the most dangerous liar is someone who believes his own lies. I can not tell a lie my prayer right now has been for my mom to have a brand new Malibu Chevrolet, my dad to have a new van and new delivery truck for his business (KingUpholstery@gmail.com), my sister in Las Vegas to have all the desires of her heart with plenty of excess money in the bank, my sister that always drove Jetta but I believe she always wanted BMW, and my sister that has an entrepreneur spirit but can never get the full benefits to prosper big also my brothers along with my dad turn our 50 year + reupholster business into a new venture offering many other services. And for me to be a blessing to all of them.

Pastor McClurkin is right about living vicariously through our pastors we all have the power of choice and our lives has been predestined by God our father. So you should not depend on your pastors relationship with God to get you into those pearly gates of heaven you need to present yourselves as living sacrifices to God, as our leaders do by obeying Gods call.
Study, the word is useful for teaching and correction on how to live and having all that is needed to do every good work. We all have our crosses to bare you don't become perfect because God is using you he may be using you for that purpose our thoughts are not His, His thoughts are not ours.
My question to you my readers is for our children whom we are shaping to live better and healthier lives. Whats the most important social related advice you can pass along to your children? Because they aren't listening to what you say they are watching what you do. We are faced with so many difficulties I don't even have to name a few. My faith says we should look forward ever ~ backward never and I am hoping the next time I get an email it is Rich in Spirit and rid of the poor mentality we have grown so accustomed to.

Essence considered Pastor McClurkins ecclesiology~ (Study of church architecture and adornment~ to enhance the appearance of something beautiful in itself). was perhaps what God had intended when he gave pastors to the body of Christ "is to take care of the people and not the people take care of them". He is right in some ways, but I enjoy doing for my church and our leader of Gods house is faithful in his servant hood to Gods people. Now where he parks his Cadillac Escalade or whatever he drives is not my focus I just hope he won't mind when I get mind. Or if I decide to move out the neighbor"hood", and if he doesn't take a dime of my tithes then I'm sure my house will truly suffer. I hope I will loan and not borrow and give with a heart of thanksgiving and that was always in me it just took being around giving people to remind me.

Everyday Is Mothers Day

Generally my "nus letter" thoughts come to me with ease. This topic should be very easy for me to speak on but its very endearing to my heart. My mother is not always happy so I thought. Anticipating Mothers Day approaching I look forward to "a day", I can say the words Happy Mothers Day! For me mothers day is every day of the year and weather or not my mother is happy about it, is seemingly shown through all of us. Let me express my happiness. It's the sound I hear when she's flip flopping around the house in those sandals she now wears as house shoes. Now I know last year or years ago we (the six of us) purchased actual house slippers, but she's saving them for her trip out of town, in which by the way she had a month ago! and no she didn't take the new slippers she didn't want to lose or leave them, that's "mama". So, I'm happy! I'm happy when I see the bacon and sausage cooked and the homemade pancake mix awaiting me to cook because she didn't want to serve them cold. I'm happy when she goes to the grocery store and she tries to remember what diet I'm on so she buys foods she thinks applies, it's always wrong but in general I'm happy. My mother is not some push over lets make that clear and when she takes the time out to awake everyday to make someone, everyone, and not her self happy. Thats Amore` and her daily love sent me on a search and I found out one day just how happy she can be. It's as simple as, listen when she vents, wash the dishes when she leaves breakfast and don't tell her what you are eating and or not eating because while she's doing all that mothering everyday she's doing it to make you happy and happy she is when you don't complain! Happy Mothers Day, "Mama", I love making everyday Mothers Day for you and Us. I always hear people ask are you a mother? if so "Happy Mothers Day"! But I reply Happy Mothers day to all because the celebration of mothers day is not just for the mothered but the experience of having or even knowing a mother to celebrate.
